![]() ![]() The ending to this was a bit of a cliff-hanger, although it seemed like Eyelet had already got a plan in place to solve it. There was a little bit of romance in this, but it was pretty obvious. I also had some questions over the world building, surely a world without sunlight wouldn’t survive for long? Surely sunlight is necessary for crops to grow? And even for creating power? The storyline in this was a bit confusing for me, and I struggled to understand what exactly was happening at points. ![]() She did improve a bit towards the end of the book, and I did feel sorry for her when she lost her mother the way she did, but she still came across as rather immature.
